Description

Type 304H is a T-300 series, low-carbon austenitic stainless steel alloy. Type 304H is the most common grade of stainless steel, you may know it as the classic 18/8 stainless steel or A2. Because of its popularity, the versatile and widely used Type 304H is found in the manufacturing of:

To be considered Type 304H stainless steel, an alloy must contain a specific combination of chemical properties. These include:

• Cr 18-20%
• Ni 8-10.5%
• C 0.04%-0.10%
• Si 0.75 max
• Mn 2% max
• P 0.45% max
• N 0.10% max
