UNS S31200 - EN 1.4460 is a stainless duplex low-carbon steel ideal for applications requiring superior resistance to intercrystalline corrosion, fatigue corrosion, crevice corrosion, pitting and stress corrosion. This steel is highly resistant to chlorides and has outstanding mechanical processing capabilities. Its superior strength and hardness, in addition to good plasticity, make it a good choice for bearing steel in chlorine-containing environments.
