Othermils produce arades compliant with UNS S30815. includina Sirius S15e, 253 MA contains a fairly low nickel content, which cives itsome advantage in reducing sulphide atmospheres when compared to hich nickel alloys and SS310. The inclusion of hich chromiumsilicon, nitrocen and cerium contents cives the stee aood oxide stability, high elevated temperature (creep) strenath and excellentresistance to sigma phase precipitation, The austenitic structure cives this grade excellent touchness, even down to cryogenictemperatures.
