ASTM 439 - EN 1.4510

This medium-chromium ferritic stainless steel (ASTM 439 - EN 1.4510) provides excellent resistance to corrosion in various mildly corrosive environments. Thanks to its titanium alloying, ASTM 439 - EN 1.4510 can be welded without the risk of intergranular corrosion. This metal is also very temperature-stable, making it suitable for the cold end of automotive exhaust systems.

AISI/ASTM 439/4510 is a titanium-stabilized 17% chromium ferritic steel with improved corrosion resistance, formability, and weldability compared to AISI/ASTM 430/4016.
